Sales Support Manager


POSITION SUMMARY

Manage the daily sales administration of IED/IEDSS and interaction with customers and sales/marketing associates. Oversee and coordinate the daily functions of sales/purchase orders, return authorizations, service billing, shipments, invoicing, and marketing support services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provide daily supervision to multiple roles which may include but is not limited to reviews, vacation requests, etc.
  • Perform schedule-of-values invoicing and complete AIA contract documentation on large contracts.
  • Prepare, enter, coordinate revisions, and review for accuracy sales orders and purchase orders electronically, oversee the entering of system quotes into HP and maintain excel quote system, and issue, approve, and maintain RA’s for returns.
  • Direct/coordinate shipping with production, and communicate delivery schedules and answer related questions, including product pricing and availability.
  • Daily interaction with end-users resolving sales order, invoicing, credit, shipment and return inquiries and/or issues resulting in prudent escalation of time-sensitive issues and ultimate resolution.
  • Reconcile ERP system billing to match SOV invoices.
  • Prepare and track repair orders through the system and monitor targets for repair turnaround raising any concerns as necessary.
  • Process IEDSS assurance program orders and advance replacement order entry, shipment, invoicing and credits. Enter IEDSS contract orders in IED system and invoice IEDSS for services and equipment as part of PAP non-hardware shipments.

  • Maintain non-standard sales orders.
  • Support process (including backing-up) of reviewing and approving daily edit list, printing pick tickets, process jobs for RA’s and other administrative sales/marketing duties as assigned.
  • Resolve internal operating system issues with corporate IT.

  • Education
    Bachelors Degree or its equivalent

    Experience
    • Five years or experience in sales administration/support of sales function, preferably in a technical environment • Prior Supervisory Experience • Prior booking keeping (AP/AR), preferred but not required

    Computer Skills

    • Proficient understanding of MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

    • Ability to learn IED’s internal computer systems

    Other Requirements

    • Knowledge of inventory control and records management procedures and practices.

    • Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration.

    • Ability to type at least 30wpm.

    • Ability to train others.
