Please follow these steps to add one or more SNMP devices to the system to be monitored via SNMP:

1. Add a new device in Enterprise, filling in important details like description and IP Address.
2. Open the SNMPtoIEDNET software (located in a folder inside c:\ied\).
3. From the drop-down control, select the newly added device.
4. Fill up the grid with data (more info below)
5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 if adding more devices.

The idea here is we receive SNMP Traps from 3rd party devices and convert the SNMP Traps to IEDNet faults. So, the first two columns (Fault Type, Fault Number) is what we want to use to generate as one of our fault or clear IEDNet messages. The 3rd column (Fault Object ID) is the ID of the SNMP Trap that the 3rd party device generates when there's a fault. The 4th column (Clear Object ID) is the ID of the SNMP Trap that the 3rd party device generates when the fault condition clears. The 5th column (description) is what shows up in SMC and System Supervision Viewer.  The attached file is a sample grid that shows four IEDNet faults possible from one UPS device.

The Fault Type and Fault Number can be any value from 1..255, but one may want to review current definitions to select something that may be similar to existing faults, just so the numbers make some sort of "sense".
